Ok, Im 29 recently changed jobs and engaged to my wonderful fiance. After a while of inactivity i have decided to take up cycle racing as a way to get fit, lose some weight, involve myself in some sport and generally feel better about myself.
Sometimes it feels like quite a journey. Each day now i am awaiting my training and striving towards my goals. Its not always easy and sometimes i find it hard, but overall I am happy to be doing it.
Im 29 now, definatly not getting any younger. For people who don’t know, i have a Pacemaker. In the past i have been reckless about the fact i have a pacemaker, but now i am getting older and settling down i have decided to not only take more care of my heart but also take more care of myself.
I have some goals i hope to achieve in the next few years which keep me motivated.
1) I want to be a father!! It’s a big one that comes with many responsibilities.
2)I dont want to smoke… It really cant be good for me!
3)I want to lose weight. My goal weight is 85kg. I havent been that since 1998 and i think it would definatly help my to remain healthy.
4)i want to compete in some local cycling races and actually be able to “compete”not just hang in there.
So thats me, I wil try to keep the blog updated each day and progress reports as often as possible.
